Our Classes

Everything is better
upside down!

When it comes to Pole/Aerial, our most commonly asked question is "Where should I start?". The short answer is there is no short answer! That's why we're here to help! Our FAQ's and Class Descriptions are a great start but we would love to help you find the perfect beginning to YOUR journey!

At FLY we don't just accept difference - we celebrate it, we support it and we thrive on it! By attending our studio, you acknowledge that FLY is an inclusive environment for all and agree to treat everyone in the FLY Community with respect and kindness.

As our class sizes are small, we ask that you are extremely diligent about registrations and attendance. Please see our FAQs and Policies for more "need to know" information.

Fly Juniors

Learning aerial skills in a safe, structured, supportive environment is an amazing and empowering experience! While they're simply having a blast, they're also increasing self-esteem, staying active, enhancing creativity, AND exercising their minds!

Juniors class tiers are available for ages 6-17. Older Juniors often start out with FLY Juniors then move into adult classes once a suitable level can be determined. Students should be mature enough to take direction cues in a group environment. New students 15+ may join our adult programs, with prior approval (please email to discuss).

Pole, Aerial & Movement

Fab Pole

FabPole™ is the beautiful combination of Aerial Fabric & Pole Dancing. The combined strengths required for each of the arts is a game changer in progressing your muscle engagement, strength and body awareness. The two arts creatively leverage off of each other making it ideal to overcome plateaus in either pole or fabrics. While it is necessary for the practical purpose of not tangling the fabric around the pole, FabPole is largely based on spinning making it necessary to put a lot of focus on body, speed and direction control.Regular workout clothing is suitable for FabPole. Most find a sleeved top more comfortable and shorts are best with a warm up layer over top. At a minimum you will need to be able to use the skin on your calves and the back of your knees at the start.

Sling

Aerial Sling is where Aerial Hammock/Yoga starts to merge with the beautiful and impressive poses, wraps and tricks of Aerial Silks. It is also a great pre-cursor to Aerial Silks. Sling can be a great starting point in aerial arts because the fabric provides support as you build strength. Because of the yoga aspect, this unique art also offers some tension release benefits. A sleeved top is necessary for aerial sling, just enough to ensure armpit coverage. Most find leggings more comfortable than shorter options but they are not required. Loose fitting clothing will twist and move in the fabric so it is not recommended!
